The Friends of the Anaheim Police K9 Association is an all-volunteer non-profit organization, which was established to support the medical care costs of retired Anaheim Police Canines.

During their careers at the police department, the K9’s are provided the best medical care possible paid by the City of Anaheim. Once the K9 retires and is purchased by the handler, the officers and their families assume responsibility for all costs related to their medical care.

Police canines put their lives on the line every day for our officers and for our community. We owe it to them to ensure a long life after retirement by assisting with their often-expensive medical care costs.
